From a young age, Houck has always been passionate about capturing the world through the lens. He vividly remembers using his trusty GoPro camera to capture his friends as they surfed and skateboarded. He is an accomplished individual who has achieved much in a short time. He graduated from Ocean Lakes High School in 2018 before earning his degree from James Madison University in 2022. But what sets him apart is that he was a content producer intern while studying at JMU. This role allowed him to capture the essence of student life and the exciting events that took place on campus. He worked tirelessly to create content that would soon be posted on various social media platforms for JMU. His hard work, dedication, and eye for detail propelled him to new heights, and he will continue making waves in his chosen field. As a former student at JMU, he is proud of all that he accomplished there and grateful for the opportunities that came his way.
Houck has made quite a name at JMU as a skilled photographer. Still, despite his growing popularity, he remains loyal to his roots in Virginia Beach. Unsurprisingly, Sandbridge, the beach where he grew up, remains one of his favorite places to photograph. For Houck, photography has become a stress reliever, and he loves its endless creative freedom.
